Hosting an Easter Baby Shower

Easter Themed Baby Shower Supplies and Ideas for a Sweet Spring Celebration

If you're planning a baby shower around Easter, it’s the perfect chance to mix a little springtime magic into the celebration. Spring is all about fresh beginnings, which feels just right when you're celebrating welcoming a new little one into the family.

My Easter baby shower collection brings that sweet, seasonal vibe with colorful daffodils, bluebirds, bunnies, and nests filled with Easter eggs! It’s playful and whimsical, but still perfect for a variety of shower styles. This design suite is versatile and can be both beautiful and elegant by pairing it with natural elements like centerpieces of fresh white and yellow daffodils with some greenery, textured burlap, gold wrapped candies, and flowy neutral linens. Or, go full blown Easter and scatter colorful eggs, rabbit figurines, classic Easter candies, and colorful bouquet centerpieces!

Either way, if you’re planning an Easter baby shower and want to combine the beauty of spring with thoughtful Easter themed details, I’ve put together some creative ideas to inspire your planning.

I’ve curated a Benable list that includes everything you need—from party supplies and decor to activity ideas and favors—so planning is as seamless as possible. Or read on for details, ideas, and inspiration for your Easter baby shower planning!

Start with Invitations that Set the Tone

The invitation is the first glimpse guests will get of your shower, so it’s a great place to highlight your theme. I’ve designed two styles that capture the joyful spirit of spring. The classic flat invitations feature my original artwork of daffodils, bluebirds, white rabbits, and Easter eggs. They’re available in pink and blue colorways, so you can coordinate them with your overall color scheme or keep it neutral if you’re saving the surprise.

For something a little more unique, the all-in-one folded invitation is a fun and practical option. It’s a three-way folded design that includes a tear-off diaper raffle card for guests and doesn’t require an envelope. Once folded, the invitation can be addressed and mailed as is—perfect for anyone who loves a hassle-free option that still looks adorable. Both styles can be completely personalized, giving you plenty of flexibility to make them your own.

Want to do something a little extra special for the mom-to-be? Consider adding a “Books for Baby” card insert with your invite! This allows guests to help build the baby's first library of books. Guests can sign their book, leaving a sweet note inside so they’ll be remembered every time the book is read as the baby grows.

A diaper raffle card is another fun insert to include. It encourages guests to bring essential diapers in exchange for a chance to win a prize in a raffle style drawing at the baby shower. Make sure to instruct guests to write their name on the card and bring it with them to the baby shower along with a pack of diapers!

Since it’s hard to fit all this important information on one invitation, coordinating inserts is another great way to give guests all the details they need!

Add Thoughtful Decor to Create a Springtime Vibe

When it comes to decorating, springtime flowers and Easter elements naturally lend themselves to a baby shower. Daffodils, which symbolize new beginnings, make beautiful centerpieces. Pair them with small bird nests or pastel eggs to create a soft, welcoming feel on tables. Obviously you’ll be planning this shower around Easter, so the stores will be full of items that lend themselves to the theme!

If you want to elevate the decor even more, add personalized balloons featuring the name of the mom-to-be. These can be incorporated into a pastel balloon arch or clustered with other balloons of your chosen color scheme for a playful yet polished look.

A few well-placed signs can also tie everything together. Welcome guests with a personalized yard sign or a large foam board at the entrance. Not only is this the first thing guests will see as they arrive, but they also make fantastic photo opportunities!

Inside, table signs can be used to mark key areas like the guest book, favor table, gift table, or diaper raffle station. These small details make the event feel cohesive and thoughtfully planned without going overboard. If you order signs in a common frame size, such as 8x10 for example, it’s easy to find matching frames that coordinate with your party style. A gold, white, or wooden frame would all work beautifully to highlight your table signs while adding to the overall decor. And if you’re short on time, all the signs in my shop are downloadable, so you can print them right from home!

Create an Easter Themed Menu Full of Sweet Treats

Whether you’re serving up snacks or handing out treats, a coordinated setup with custom tableware really makes everything feel like it was meant to be together. With the right tableware, everything feels a little more put-together—whether you’re serving up sweet treats or using them to create an easy-to-clean setup for drinks and snacks. Using personalized pieces like plates, napkins, and party cups make the event feel unique and extra special for the guest of honor. If you’re on a budget, mix and match! Pair a personalized plate with some store-bought bunny napkins (check my Benable list for the cutest ones I could find!).

As for snacks, food is always a highlight at any gathering, and an Easter-themed baby shower opens the door for some fun, seasonal options. Carrot cake cupcakes or a classic sheet cake are easy crowd-pleasers and feel right at home with the theme. Candy bowls filled with pastel jelly beans, chocolate eggs, and other Easter treats add pops of color and variety to the dessert table. Deviled eggs, a springtime staple, are always a hit. For a playful touch, consider using bunny-shaped cookie cutters to cut fruits and cheeses into fun shapes. Rice Krispie treats filled with pastel M&Ms are another simple but festive addition that guests will love.

Whatever treats you decide on serving, using coordinating tableware makes the whole spread feel more polished and adds that extra touch of thoughtfulness to the party.

Plan Activities that Engage and Delight Guests

Keeping guests entertained is key to creating a memorable baby shower, and there are plenty of really fun and Easter specific ways to tie activities into your baby shower. My favorite, and something I did for my own gender reveal, is the classic egg hunt. Just add the baby's gender (or name) to one of many plastic eggs hidden around your party, and an Easter egg hunt can double as a super creative gender (or name) reveal. Or make it a bit harder and fill plastic eggs with clues or letters that lead guests to the big surprise! It will be an absolute frenzy of excitement and anticipation, guaranteed to end in the sweetest surprise reveal for all!

For something more relaxed, a floating duck game can add a playful springtime touch. I don’t know about you, but my favorite game at carnivals was always the duck float! Simply buy some rubber duckies and add them to a water basin, making sure to mark one underneath as the winner. Let guests choose a duck for a fun chance to win a prize.

A “Books for Baby” station is another thoughtful addition, allowing guests to contribute to the baby’s library. Ask guests to bring a book, or just leave out a stack of your own books, along with some pens so guests can sign their names and add a heartfelt message for the baby.

For a sentimental keepsake, set up an advice station where guests can leave words of wisdom (or humor) for the parents-to-be. Or “blessings for baby” cards where guests can write little bits of wisdom they’d like to impart. Collecting these sentiments from loved ones and saving them to look back on is something everyone will cherish as time passes.

And of course, don’t forget classic shower games with an Easter twist like a candy jar guessing game, where guests estimate the number of chocolate eggs or jellybeans in a jar. The closest guess wins a prize, adding a fun, interactive element to the celebration.

Send Guests Home with Thoughtful Favors

No baby shower is complete without a little something to thank guests for coming. One thoughtful and unique favor idea is to tuck personalized tea bags into thrifted tea cups, nestled in Easter grass with a few chocolate treats. It’s a simple way to create something that feels special without a lot of effort. Adding a coordinating thank-you tag gives it a polished look and makes it easy for guests to take home.

Another fun option is filling personalized favor boxes with Easter candies or other small treats. These small, heartfelt details give guests a sweet reminder of the day and show just how much their presence was appreciated.

Bringing It All Together for a Memorable Celebration

An Easter-themed baby shower blends the joy of spring with the excitement of welcoming a little one, creating a magical and memorable event. Whether it’s through personalized invitations, thoughtful decor, fun activities, or meaningful favors, the details add up to something truly special.

If you’re ready to bring this vision to life, my collection of Easter baby shower designs is a great place to start. With plenty of ways to customize and personalize, you can create an event that feels unique, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect for celebrating a new beginning.
